terms
Last updated 1 November 2026. By using wakey, or recording a voice through an invite link, you agree to these terms. wakey is run by Nines Robotics. Questions: .
Who can use it
You must be 16 or older.
No tolerance for abuse
wakey has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not record or send anything that is hateful, threatening, sexual, harassing, or illegal, that involves a minor in any harmful way, or that impersonates someone. We remove violating content and ban the accounts responsible.
You can report any voice from the morning screen and block anyone from your friends list or the morning screen. We review reports within 24 hours.
Your voice
You own what you record. You give us permission to store it and deliver it to the people you sent it to, and they may replay it and keep it. Only record your own voice, or voices of people who agreed. Don’t send anything you wouldn’t want played out loud in someone’s bedroom.
Alarms
We work hard to make wakey ring, but your phone’s battery, settings or network can stop an alarm or keep a voice from arriving in time. wakey is provided as is. Don’t rely on it alone for anything that really matters, like flights, exams or medication.
Premium
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple account, monthly or yearly, at the price shown before you buy. It renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. Deleting your wakey account does not cancel your subscription. When premium ends, your earliest alarm keeps ringing, the others wait until you come back, snooze goes away, and what you got at the night market stays yours.
The Apple part
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple’s standard licence agreement also applies to the app. Apple has no duty to support it and may enforce these terms as a third-party beneficiary.
Ending things
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability and law
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as a missed appointment. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer. The law of England and Wales applies, and mandatory consumer law of your own country still protects you.
